Recently, Veronica Salvacion (Andi Eigenmann) almost killed herself by drinking a bottle of sleeping pills. Luckily, Madonna (Malou Crisologo) saw Veronica and rushed her to the hospital. Madonna then called Andrea San Jose (Iza Calzado) and informed her about what happened to Veronica. Later that time, Andrea arrived at the hospital and saw Veronica unconscious. Andrea felt guilty of Veronica's suicide attempt because Rafael de Guzman (Jake Cuenca) loves her. Andrea then made a big decision wherein she would sacrifice her love for Rafael and give it to Veronica. Without any second thoughts, Andrea passed her engagement ring to Veronica and left. Meanwhile, Miguel de Guzman (Gabby Concepcion) knew from Madonna that veronica tried to kill herself. Miguel then called Rafael and informed him about Veronica wherein Rafael was very shocked about it. Rafael then shared what he knows about Veronica's suicide attempt, letting Miguel know that he is the reason behind it. Miguel, on the other hand, was surprised to know about Veronica's feelings for Rafael. Miguel then went to the hospital and talked to Veronica who just woke up. Miguel then gave Veronica his counsel about what she did to herself and promised to settle things by the time Veronica is home. Meanwhile, at the Espiritu's residence, Andrea had a conversation with Esther Espiritu (Jaclyn Jose) wherein Andrea expressed how guilty she is about Veronica's suicide attempt. Esther, on the other hand, let Andrea know that she must not sacrifice her love for Rafael just to save Veronica's obsession.
