Madonna disses and compliments Lady Gaga all in the same sentence, and claims the two will share the stage together one day soon!
It seems Madonna has sorta ended her feud with Elton John, but the beef is far from over between Madonna and Lady Gaga. The two have a history of subtle jabs back and forth, this time Madonna has dissed Lady Gaga again, most recently at her MDNA concert in Atlantic City New Jersey. Madonna started by saying, “I love her… I do love her” and then went on to counteract the compliment by saying, “…imitation is the highest form of flattery?” Talk about beating a dead horse, this feud is so January 2012. It’s no secret Madonna thinks Lady Gaga copied her “Express Yourself” song on “Born This Way”, but we’re sick of the back and forth.
It was in the middle of her show, right AFTER leading the crowd in a chant about loving thy neighbor “in every nation”, she proceeded to fuel the fire with Mother Monster, while halfheartedly dedicating a song to her, the same song she dedicated to Elton John a few weeks ago when she dissed him, take a listen to this audio from the show.
Let’s not be fooled by the pseudo- compliment, the song dedication was immediately reversed with the “imitation” diss right? And what about the two possibly sharing a stage together- do you believe this? At the end of her statement about Gaga she says, “Think I’m kidding?” We honestly can’t tell if Madonna is kidding or not. But I want to know what you guys think! Do you think Madonna and Gaga are cooking something up for us in the future, or is Madonna fueling the fire for another reason?
