Actor Rupert Everett, who played a father gay in the movie starring Madonna and titled something almost perfect, in the year 2000 has released some unexpected statements on homosexual parents in an interview with the Sunday Times.
The interpreter, which revealed publicly as a homosexual, in the past has criticized the extension of rights of couples formed by persons of the same sex in regards to adoption.
“I can not think nothing worse than being raised by two gay parents”, said the interpreter, who has recognized the right of others to disagree: “May not be some people agree with me.” “OK, this is just my opinion.”
Everett recognized that her boyfriend had presented to her mother, but that this was still trying “to have wife and kids”, explained. “She thinks that children need a mother and a father, and I agree with her.”
The interpreter of the importance of being earnest also warned that it didn’t represent any community. “I do not speak on behalf of the gay community”. In fact, I don’t feel part of any ‘Community’. “The only that I belong to humanity and there are many children on the planet, so it is good to not have more.”
The mother of the actor, Sara Everett, age 77, is also involved in the interview, where he admits that he would like his son to become heterosexual. “I wish you would have a beautiful wife and have children.” “To Rupert you are very good children, it would be a wonderful father”.
Criticism of Everett
Everett statements have been obtained a quick response by women groups of homosexuals. Ben Summerskill, responsible for the Stonewall Group, recommended the actor leave a little more to see the realiadad itself.
“There is no evidence that children of gay parents suffer for the manner in which they are raised or during its development”, they have indicated.
