When I go to concerts, I tend to keep it kind of casual in pants, boots and a cool top — or so I thought. After seeing Sophia Bush leave the Madonna concert in Los Angeles last night at the Staples Center, I think I might be doing it wrong.
The “Partners” actress raised the bar for concert wear by donning a super fierce burgundy and black midnight floral v-neck sleeveless dress by Helmut Lang with glazed black leather insets at the sides ($995, shopbop.com).
This dress comes from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection.
Not only was her dress hot, but Soph stayed warm all over by pairing her spicy dress with opaque tights and sassy black suede “Brie” hidden platform ankle boots by Brian Atwood. These Fall 2009 boots were originally spotted on the star a few years ago for a red carpet event, so it’s nice to see her break them out again.
In addition to her cozy tights, Sophia bundled up in another archive piece. She’s wearing a black asymmetric wool felt “Upside Down” jacket, also by Helmut Lang, from the Fall 2010 line. Oh, how I need this coat in my life this fall.
Why must it not be available anymore?
With smooth tresses and a little bit of make-up, Sophia finished off with a black quilted Chanel 2.55 jumbo flap bag and some cute diamond dagger earrings by Julia Cohen.
