After a near two-week hiatus, University School returned to the football field last week, and earned a 47-20 win over previously unbeaten District 8-3A rival Chaminade-Madonna.
That effort helped the Suns remain pretty consistent in most of the major high school football polls this week, although one ranking--the Rivals 100--moved University up nine spots and into its top 50.
University remains the highest ranked team from either Broward or Palm Beach County this week, although Dwyer and American Heritage are also in the top half of the Rivals 100.
Here's a look at this week's rankings:
Rivals 100
Bradenton Manatee is the state's top-ranked team at No. 2 and then there's a huge cluster of South Florida teams near the bottom of the top 50. Miami Central is No. 40, while Booker T. Washington is right behind at No. 41. University School is No. 43, Dwyer is at No. 44 and American Heritage at No. 50. St. Thomas Aquinas, which had been ranked No. 71, dropped out of the poll after its overtime loss to Miramar.
USA Today
For the second straight week, Florida bookends the USA Today Super 25 with Bradenton Manatee at No. 1 and Orlando Dr. Phillips at No. 25.

This ranking features just two Florida teams: Manatee at No. 1 and University School at No. 18.
PrepNation.com National Prep Poll
Only three Florida teams are ranked here, with again, Manatee at No. 1. University hangs on to the No. 10 spot for another week and Dwyer dropped a spot from No. 24 to No. 25.
ESPN 25 Power Rankings
This one stayed pretty much the same all across the board. Manatee remains at No. 1, while University is at No. 22 and American Heritage-Delray took the No. 24 spot. There was no movement for any of the state's teams. Actually, there wasn't any movement in the poll at all.
