Floyd Mayweather: Maidana Was Toughest Wrestling Match, Cotto ...

People letting the wrestling tactics cloud their judgement. Floyd was easily on points. Yes it was a tough f!ght and tiring f!ght because of the roughhousing, but that doesn't score you rounds in a boxing match. Damn good strategy though, and he executed it well. Just didn't land enough clean shots to win a boxing match.

Go re-watch round 5. Floyd eats 2 perfectly placed counter punches from Maidona in a row. Caught Floyd trying to throw big left hand hooks with left hooks of his own. Floyd didn't budge. I knew he wasn't hitting as hard as most expected at that point.

Floyd won 8-4 or 9-3. Pretty clean victory.
